Workin' on my fitness.

He's my witness. Anyways, I did power yoga yesterday and it kicked my ass. THEN I went to Body Pump this morning AND had to practice the new Combat release. I am barely moving. The main problem with this is whenever I work out (especially in the mornings) I want to eat everything in sight all day. Since it kick starts my metabolism, I get hungry so quickly. I have to try really hard to not undo the work I did in the morning.

The good news is, I'm losing! YAY! It's not much, but you have to start somewhere. I want to look like a different person next time I visit Albany. And I'm going to. Seriously, I want to look like Jessica Biel. That's my ideal body. She's not too skinny, but she's lean and toned like whoa.

Isn't she a babe?

So, how's everyone's weekend going so far? I know weekends are the hardest. I want to cheat so bad cause when you're relaxing around the house it's so easy to just eat and eat and eat. Not to mention the weekends are when we always go out to eat, and it's ridiculously hard to eat right when you're not fixing your own food. But I'm staying strong! Stay strong with me!

On another note, have y'all seen the Carl's Jr. commercial with Audrina Patridge? What a twat. It makes me wanna punch a baby.

  1. Kudos for working out so hard! I definitely need to get into a workout routine. But good news is I went to a weight watchers meeting this morning. My first in almost 2 months! =/ so in turn i had to face a grueling weight gain, but i had to face the music at some point. and it was that much more motivation to stay strapped on the wagon! =] Good luck this week!

  4. Shape Magazine had a great article this month on how to make healthy substitutions that will save you a lot of calories when you go out to eat. Let me know if you're interested and I can give you some examples. :)

  6. Anyone can fake eat a Burger for a couple grand. I would but I'd never eat the whole thing. IF I did, I would run 5 to make up for it. Calories are like a. Bank.......I spend 500 , u burn 500 ( or at least 300) remember. ..nothing tastes as good as looking hot in ur bikini. There was a time I was jealous of ur body Haley. U can get it back. And don't forget to pray about it. GOD wants you to meet ur goals so u can help others too. You are an inspiration. Rock it sister.

  7. Emmy, I would LOVE some examples! I usually end up getting a blah salad or some soup. I'd rather eat at home.

Jay, WOOT-WOOT! I am SO proud! 9 pounds is freaking awesome. And of course I'd never punch your baby. He's too cute :)

Nikki, I heard that! A burger is not worth it. I seriously keep saying to myself that nothing tastes as good as thin feels. I'm proud of myself for at least being so motivated. Usually I'll stay motivated for a week at the most, then lose it. It's nice to have that positive changing energy back. And I know I can get it back, it'll just take a while :) Plus I'm going to church in the morning so me and Big Guns are gonna have a heart-to-heart about my sitch. I know that'll help.

  9. This is so much fun! I've lost 3 pounds so far..and kept it off...trying hard to allow Jesus to be Lord of my life, and not nachos, donuts, etc....and trying not to let a perfect body be an idol to me...just want to feel better, live longer, and take care of this temple...I'm praying for all of us...

  10. Thanks, Emmy! I had no idea that chicken had more calories than shrimp. I love shrimp! And it's hard for me to give up the tortilla for a bed of lettuce, but I'll do it, haha.

Way to go, Mama D! That's awesome! Keep it up.
